If you're looking for anonymous subversion access, use the following commands to grab the latest code:

svn co svn://svn.tuxfamily.org/svnroot/mediabox404/mediabox404/trunk

Once you have a checkout, you can just do a svn update at any time to update it to the most recent revision. If you're making modifications, a simple svn diff will generate a unified diff. It's quite similar to CVS, but the subversion book has all the information you'd ever want on how to use it.

If you have some patches to submit, please email (see Contact) with attached patch and a comprehensive explanation :

Documenting

If you are an experienced user, you can document usage and/or installation of MediaBox 404.

Translating

Many documents need french to english translation. This wiki relies on the Languages Mediawiki template witch allows the redaction of a single page in many different languages.

For a better integration, name your translated page with it's original name, followed by a slash (/) and the 2 letters code of your country (ie. fr). In example, the french translation of this page should be named Contribute/fr, the spanish translation Contribute/es, ...

Please note that the reference language of each page has to be english, so if you want to introduce french information, the first step is to create YourPage in english, and then YourPage/fr in french.

For an easier browsing, reference your translation on top of the page like this: {{Languages|Contribute}}

Some information about development

• PHP Core 404 is written in PHP;
• Stream 404 is based on Ices, which is written in C;
• Scheduler 404 is also written in C.
